Translated with a critical rearrangement of the Surahs by Richard Bell, Edinburgh University in 1937, Vol II dated 1939. Vol. I Surahs I-XXIV; Vol II. Surahs XXV-CXIV.  Bell was a noted arabist whose translation, and separate introduction to the Qu'ran, have had considerable influence on modern islamic studies.
