The Land Remains explores the small town of Mahia, Aotearoa. A photographic and artistic journey through Mahia that explores the relationships of the land to its people. 

After spending a few years of back-and-forth travel to Mahia, Jane explored Mahia with her cameras, meeting people and taking notes and films. The opportunity to speak to people about their ways of expressing and living in their environment is presented here.
