Johanne Leusden (1624-1699) was a Dutch theologian who became Professor of Hebrew at Utrecht, and was one of the most prominent Hebrew scholars of his time. He published various works on the bible and Hebrew philology, including the first edition of the Hebrew bible with numbered verses. A very nice copy of a scarce and important set of 17th C biblical philology.
