Author description

Benjamin Farjeon (1838-1903) was an Otago journalist from 1861-1867, playing a major role in the newly established Otago Daily Times. He was a prolific novelist, first publishing Love's Victory in serial form January-June 1875 in Tinsley's Magazine after his return to England.
